Girlvana in high schools
Girlvana workshops are designed to relate to high school aged girls directly. In a one hour time block (generally in P.E. or a another block such as drama), girls will have the opportunity to be led through a peaceful yet invigorating yoga practice with tools on controlling anxiety and stress. There will a 15-minute discussion at the end to bring up any questions, to offer tips and to teach the girls how to meditate. The end result is a happier girl. A moment in time where they get a chance to get away from the pressure of their lives and relate to one another as equals.
