If you are a certified yoga teacher who is passionate about connecting and supporting our next generation of young female leaders, this course could be for you. This training is yoga alliance certified and can be used towards continuing education hours for any yoga teacher.

Girlvana Teacher Training provides certified yoga teachers with the insight and understanding to lead Girlvana methodology classes and workshops.

your certification

Once your training is complete, you will be added to our website as a certified Girlvana Yoga Teacher where students and parents can contact you directly. You will be eligible to take on existing classes and contracts through Girlvana if you wish, and most importantly, you are able to bring the program to high schools, dance studios and youth centers in your own community.
The possibilities for creating your own thriving practice are endless and Girlvana is here to help support you in this journey. This training is Yoga Alliance certified.

How long is the training? 3 days during a weekend (Friday - Sun).
- Friday | 4:30-8pm
- Saturday | 12-8pm
- Sunday | 10am-5pm
Do I need to be a yoga instructor to join? At the moment, yes, you must have your 200 hr yoga teacher training certification to apply for the Girlvana training program. However, we often make exceptions for high school teachers, counsellors or other folks working with teens. Email us to inquire.
How long after the application period closes will I hear from Girlvana? If you have submitted your application to the Teacher Training program before the deadline, you will hear back from us on our decision within 5 business days of the deadline closure.
What is the cost? The cost of the session is $1000 USD total. Upon approval of your application, a $650 deposit will be due within one week to hold your space. Please note that this payment is not refundable or transferable for any reason. The remaining balance of $350 will be due 30 days before the start date of the traininG, (you won't have to remember this, we'll give you a heads up). If you need to set up a payment plan, please let us know, we would be happy to help make it work for you. After your second payment, it is non-refundable for any reason, but can be transferred towards another Girlvana training.
What is included in the investment? The cost includes your weekend of training and your first year of Girlvana Teacher certification and registration. As long as you continue as an active Girlvana teacher, an annual renewal fee of $250 (plus 5% tax) is due on the date of your training starting one year after certification. While you are a registered Girlvana teacher we will do everything we can to support your work; sharing about your classes and programs on our social channels, listing on our website and ongoing support, as and when you need it.
